Internship – Scandinavian Business Development Associate


Hawke Transit System-HTS is a manufacturer of cable and pipe modular sealing systems and has offices in UK, Spain, Singapore and Dubai, and stock holding distributors in strategic locations around the world.
The company has over 30 years experience in Product Development,System Design, Supply and Installation and has supplied major projects in a variety of industries around the world. The Hawke Transit System was first developed over 25 years ago to meet the harsh and hazardous demands of the North Sea Oil Industry. It has since developed for use in many diverse industries.


Scandinavian Business Development Associate

Overall responsibilities:

Provide the very best information to our Scandinavian customers and be in charge of developing our Scandinavian Market.

The internship is a part of our business, with the role as an associate you will working along side our commercial team and directly impacting upon the business. In providing such a rewarding opportunity we expect you to share our dedication to the business and customers. A strong work ethos, combined with an environment that is professional whilst fun, makes our workplace open and respecting.

Key tasks:

  • be responsible for the public relations of Hawke Transit System
  • Contact companies and offer our services to them
  • be the first contact person to develop our Scandinavian Market and built up relationships with customers
  • Setting up appointments with potential customers
  • Produce request a weekly activity report about the current situation

Skills required:

  • Swedish or Danish mother tongue
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential
  • Academic background in an economic/business related discipline
  • Database management problem solving skills and attention to details
  • Team player with ability to build relationships and negotiate both with internal organizations and external partners
  • Willingness to join a dynamic team
  • Ability to work independently for at least 6 months
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point
