After a very successful FuturePerfect 2011, we are currently interviewing Project Leaders for
FuturePerfect 2012 – Scandinavian Festival for New Sustainable Living, to join our young, fun and creative team. As a FPF Project Leader, you will play a key role in the Core Global Team, which gives open access to a world-wide, dynamic and well-connected network in various industries including: design, architecture, transportation, policy, food, entertainment, technology & Internet and media, among others. The festival will take place in Stockholm, Sweden in August 2012 and plans to continue into 2013.
About the Organisation
FuturePerfect is a new way of thinking about sustainability and the challenges it presents in the 21st century. Instead of seeing crisis and sinking into despondency, FuturePerfect turns sustainability into an exploration of human potential. FuturePerfect Festival curates four open programs which are the heart of the event – Exploration, Music & Arts, Living Well, and Co-Creation. This is truly a< unique and a one-of-a-kind event!
Job Description
• Coordination of all aspects of event from PR, Marketing, to Organizing, Production and
Operations
• Be the liaison between production team and Partners, advisors, steering group, musicians and artists
• Keep information up to date and responsible for contracts with artists, partners & speakers
• Identifying potential Volunteers, Organisations, Networks and Sponsors and coordinate their questions
Job Requirements
• Be able to identify areas where attention is needed, come up with manageable plans & be able to carry out
• Able to drive questions and issues further and work independently
• Experience with coordinating projects professionally, academically is beneficial
• Has excellent communication skills and can easily take contact with new people & organizations in English
• Organization and time-management skills
• Access to the internet and skype, Internet savvy & able to find information easily
• Experience with Social media and/or environmental and sustainability issues is a plus
• Preferred home base in Stockholm, Sweden but not required.

The role will fit a student or professional with some existing skills, who is seeking to build on those skills, gain access to a world-class global network and be exposed to the world of sustainability while making a difference. The internship is part-time and unpaid. A one month trial period is required. Future opportunities could become available. The FuturePerfect team is based in Stockholm, LA, Malmö and Copenhagen and is passionate about making a difference and inspiring people!
